Looking for an artist with the intials A.I W.? paints horse and dog scenes, early 20th century?

I had an idea, but the middle initial is throwing me off. You could try Andrew Wyeth, but his middle initial is N. Is there any way the "I" is wrong? Wyeth was a 20th century artist who painted a lot of rural scenes, which included horses and dogs, though none (that I know of) with the two together.
